The Dot to Dot Festival is an annual one-day event showcasing the best in new bands and DJs. Organised and managed by DHP, it takes place in venues across Nottingham and Bristol and fans move between premises to experience dozens of up and coming acts playing live.

Over the past three years the festival has garnered a strong reputation for showcasing bands that go on to become household names - the 2006 festival saw then unknown acts including The Automatic, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly and the Klaxons playing to packed audiences and this year’s event welcomed The Cribs and Kate Nash.

Going forward, Dot to Dot is set to build on this success, with plans to extend the event further in 2008. The Bristol festival is expected to more than double in size as well as extra venues added in Nottingham and an entirely new event launched in yet another city. Other ideas include incorporating other forms of entertainment including comedy, film and poetry.
