GIGANTIC PARTNERSHIP FOR DHP
DHP Group, the premier live music and club operator in the Midlands, has selected a new box office Solution provided by Gigantic.
The decision comes just weeks after the official launch of Gigantic, which is the first ethical ticketing agency and is an official partner of environmental charity Global Cool.
Gigantic will provide DHP’s existing box office, Alt-tickets, with a brand new state of the art ticketing system using the latest technology.
DHP Group managing director George Akins said, “Our existing ticketing system was outdated and in desperate need of an upgrade. We’re promoting more and more shows around the country, so we needed a more robust system to enable us to move forward”.
“The Gigantic team also bring with them a huge amount of experience in the ticketing industry and we are extremely confident in their ability to deliver an effective and efficient ticketing solution.”
Alt-tickets will continue as the main distributor for tickets to gigs at DHP venues and will also be the primary ticket vendor for events and concerts being promoted by DHP, including the Dot to Dot festival in Nottingham and Bristol and the Babyshambles gig at Nottingham Arena in November.
Mark Gasson, managing director at Gigantic, added, “This deal is a perfect fit for both businesses; DHP needed a new ticketing system and Gigantic were building one. We are looking forward to working with DHP Group as they expand their promotions business.”
