GIGANTIC PARTNERSHIP FOR DHP
DHP Group, the premier live music and club operator in the Midlands, has selected new online box office Gigantic as its preferred ticketing partner.
The decision comes just weeks after the official launch of Gigantic, which is the first ethical ticketing agency and is an official partner of environmental charity Global Cool.
As the preferred outlet for DHP tours and events across the country, Gigantic replaces the previous ageing alt-tickets agency with a state of the art system using the latest technology.
DHP Group managing director George Akins said, “Our existing ticketing system was outdated and in desperate need of an upgrade. We’re promoting more and more shows around the country, so we needed a partner with a national reach, and Gigantic provided this.
“The Gigantic team also bring with them a huge amount of experience in the ticketing industry and we are extremely confident in their ability to deliver an effective and efficient ticketing solution.”
Gigantic will not only be the main distributor for tickets to gigs at DHP venues, but will also be the primary ticket vendor for events and concerts being promoted by DHP, including the Dot to Dot festival in Nottingham and Bristol and the Babyshambles gig at Nottingham Arena in November.
